About CityBoy
An email identity and a publication, built by the same people, for the same person.
CityBoy started from a small observation: the email address most people hand out is the one they made as a teenager, and it follows them into every professional room they ever walk into. It is the single most-repeated piece of identity anyone owns, and almost nobody chose it deliberately.
So we built two things that belong together.
CityBoyMail
An email address worth having. You claim a name at @cityboymail.com — short, memorable, and yours alone — and point it at whatever inbox you already read. There is nothing to migrate and nothing to learn. When you want more, the same name becomes a real mailbox that sends as well as receives.
We run it on infrastructure we operate ourselves, with published privacy commitments we can actually keep. We do not read your mail to sell advertising. That is an architectural fact, not a slogan: the advertising components in this product live on the public website and have no access to mail.
CityBoy
The publication. Money, hustle, style, cars, tech, fitness, dating, nightlife, travel — written for people who move through cities and want the useful version rather than the aspirational one.
The standard we hold ourselves to is simple: every piece should tell you something you can act on. We do not invent authors, we do not invent statistics, and we disclose every commercial relationship. Our editorial standards spell out exactly how that works.
Who runs this
CityBoy is independently owned and operated from Las Vegas, Nevada. It is not venture-funded and it is not owned by a media group. It is paid for by memberships, premium names, and advertising on editorial pages — in that order of preference, deliberately, because that is the order that keeps our incentives pointed at readers.
